Very rare early modern desk and chair designed by Alvar and Aino Aalto for their Artek-Pascoe line that launched in the USA in the 1940s. Classic bentwood and beautiful birch plywood combined with angled drawer fronts. Three drawers left pedestal and 2teo on right, lower drawer can be used for files. Chair has original upholstery which can easily be changed as needed. Both pieces are structurally sound and in good condition with age typical wear.
