A rare set of teak framed chairs with woven cane seats and backs designed by Arne Vodder and made by Sibast of Denmark in the 1950s.
This set includes four side chairs and two model 51a arm chairs, the latter of which are particularly sought after for their distinctive flared armrests. Expertly crafted from solid teak, these chairs ahve superb lines and with their contrasting cane work are the epitome of the Danish modern movement.
Chair joints have been reglued, previous repairs corrected and touched up. Chair cane is original and in very good usable condition with minor losses.
