Superb Italian 1950s design by Carlo de Carli for M. Singer and Sons. Solid walnut frame with excellent lines, crafstamnship and comfort. Highl;y collectible, this pair was part of a very successful line 'Modern by Singer' that included designs by Gio Ponti, Bertha Schaefer and Carlo de Carli. both the chair and ottoman retain their original M. Singer and Sons labels - very rare!
 
This chair is in all original condition and shows some finish loss/wear.  Cushions are usable as is but show light marking and should be reupholstered.
