Superbly proportioned and extremely comfortable sofa designed by Edward Wormley for Dunbar in the 1950s. Model 5485A is a less common three seater version of the L shape form usually found and as shown in the final photo from a 1950s Dunbar Catalog. Very generous seat with ample cushioning on back and arms. This piece is in its origional upholstery which shows age typical wear and a two missing button covers. We recommend new upholstery and it is priced accordingly. Frame is Dunbar-solid as is to be expected and it has the signature 'spaghetti strapping' underneath. Light wear to the wood base.
