Designed by the Eames office in 1970, this rare two part chair with plastic back panels and an adjustable height and angle back allowed extra comfort as a secretary chair. This particular example is upholstered in an eye-catching purple that contrasts beautifully with the white back. It is very well done but it is possible it has been reupholstered. The original vinyl bumper on the seat surround  belopw the seat pad is absent. The polished aluminum and chrome hardware further add to the floating effect created by this sleek modern design. In good original condition with occasional light wear.
