Early Eames designed Dining Chair Wood (DCW) made by Evans for Herman Miller. This early chair with Evans + Herman Miller label dates it to 1947-1950, just a few years after the chairs were first produced. This is a collectors special: excellently preserved label, all original parts, shock mounts, screws, finish and a healthy dose of patina. It is structurally sound and can be sat on although most collectors would probably rather display it than use is!
