Sleek and functional desk with credenza designed by George Nelson for Herman Miller's 1950s Executive Office Group (EOG). Featuring a very generous desk with single pedestal and three drawers, this workstation is supported by a long credenza with trademark sliding black door concealing five finger pull drawers - these were only on the early versions. In addition there are two cubbies, two more behind a lockable door and a large storage area on the far end. George Nelson/Herman Miller metal label in credenza drawer. This unit is an unusual left-handed setup and comes with a rare cane modesty panel in excellent condition (not shown). Drawer fronts and top surfaces have been refinished to remove wear and restore the beautiful wood grain. Credenza is finished in walnut on back so can be used in any position of a room.
