Beautiful aged oak dining chairs designed by Hans J. Wegner and made by C.M. Madsen in Denmark, early 1950s. Sculpted form and excellent Danish craftsmanship shine through in these rare chairs. This earlier version is less common than the later iteration that has extra stretchers between the legs. This version is the purest embodiment of Wegner’s vision.The set is in good vintage condition with a time earned patina of light to moderate wear to the seats and frames. Some joints have been reglued and the wood has been oiled. Sold as a set.
