Early Mahogany buffet and wall cabinet designed by Edward Wormley for Dunbar in the 1940s. The buffet is a plinth variation of the 4137 cabinet shown in the last photo . Rich mahogany grain case piece features five oak lined drawers and three storage cubbies on each side, concealed by a pair of sliding doors. The sideboard also comes with its original protective glass top. The wall mounted cabinet is a rare piece featuring a trapezoidal cross section with drop front glass door and classic Wormley bentwood brackets. Both pieces have the same width so can be used with cabinet sitting on top (underside is felted) or as a wall mount. In excellent original condition. Green Dunbar tag in drawer.
