Rare art deco / early modern line by Eliel Saarinen, Pipsan Saarinen-Swanson and J. Robert F. Swanson for the Johnson Furniture Company of Grand Rapids in the early 1950s. Featuring the restrained aesthetics of early modern with a single 'wave' element defining the line, this chest of drawers has polished aluminum wave pulls and bentwod wave legs. Ample storage and classic good design superbly combined. Johnson Furniture Co. Stamp in drawer and model numbers on back panel. In good original condition with occasional finish wear.
