Rare 1950s bench made by Erwin-Lambeth that exemplifies the company's sophisticated style: an elegantly tufted cushion sits on a beautifully sculpted walnut base. The way the lines of the tapered legs are eased into the horizontal stretchers makes it look almost fragile but the bench easily supports three people.
