Extremely Rare NV48 settee designed by Finn Juhl and made by Niels Vodder. Gorgeous hand-crafted solid old-growth teak frame perfectly complemented by a 'floating' seat and butterfly-shaped back. Branded by master cabinetmaker Niels Vodder on the inside of the front rail (see final photo).
This piece has been restored and reupholstered. Restorations include fixing a broken leg (front right - see second to last photo), regluing of the joints connecting side frames to the longitudinal stretchers and rebuilding chipped arm edges. The frame is now very solid with no movement. The seat and seat back and have been newly upholstered in a Citrine Kravet Lee Jofa cowhide leather.
