Early 'Japan' chair designed by Finn Juhl for FRance and Daverkosen, the precursor to France and Son. Known colloquially as the Japan chair because of the frame's resemblance to a Torii gate, this chair is sought after by collectors and designers alike. Featuring a solid teak frame with brass hardware and a contoured minimalist seat that floats on subtle risers in true Finn Juhl style. Frame is in great condition, seat could be reupholstered but very usable and comnfortable as is.
