Stunningly sculpted dining chairs in Walnut and lather by Danish master designer Finn Juhl for Baker Furniture's Modern collection of 1952. Juhl's organic modern sensibilities are expressed throughout the frame and seat pads which float weightlessly, attached at only key points. In all original very good condition with excellent patina to the leather and minimal signs of use to the frames. Older repairs to where the back legs connect to the side stretchers are well concealed and only visible when the chair is inverted. Leg joint dowels  have been reglued for improved sturdiness. Chairs are marked with the Baker code 402 1/2. The 1/2 denoted Walnut as the chairs also came in Maple. Sold and priced as a set of 4.
