Excellent period modern 3516 WL Desk designed by Florence Knoll and made by Knoll Associates in 1963. Stripped down design with floating desk pedestal, no visible hardware and an ample desktop. Drawers are opened from subtly bevelled sides. Top drawer includes stationary tray that conceals secret storage compartment and original drawer dividers. Two additional drawers provide further storage. Walnut grain laminate top was an extra cost and offers peace of mind from stains and water damage. Original Knoll Label with 575 Madison address in drawer and date stamp of Feb 12 1963.
