Florence Knoll side table or nightstand in Walnut for Knoll Associates Inc., 1950s. One of many impeccably minimalist Florence Knoll designs she created to "fill in" a space and not draw attention away from more organic designs such as Eero Saarinen's Womb chair. Beautiful wood grain contrasts beautifully with the crisp oak drawer interior while the white divider adds another functional element to the piece. Original Knoll label from the 1960s underneath. Excellent condition.
