Stunning Walnut dining table designed by George Nakashima and handmade by Widdicomb Mueller craftsman in 1958. This table was one of the key pieces for the Origins collection and graced the cover of an issue of House Beautiful dedicated to the line. With its beautiful rounded form, superb proportions, intiricate dovetail joinery and sublime walnut woodgrain, this is a showstopper of a table. Nakashima's insistence on including sapwood on the table top was a groundbreaking move and his love for the beauty of wood gained him many admirers.

 

This table has been refinished and legs reglued.
