Chairs designed by George Nakashima and made by Widddicomb in the late 1950s as part of their ‘Origins’ line. Known as ‘New’ chairs, these have solid walnut seats and legs, with a seat back of hickory spindles topped by dramatic crescents of walnut. Wonderfully comfortable and effortlessly elegant these chairs are beautiful collector’s items. Both chairs have George Nakashima brands and finish stamped underneath. One chair is the Sundra finish and one is Titian- Titian being slightly lighter in color.
