Rare slimline coffee table designed by George Nelson for Herman Miller in 1957. For this model Nelson pushes the steel frame to its absolute minimum, utilising 1/2 square bars for the legs and a simple stretcher between them for rigidity and support. The legs intersect subtly with the table apron providing a very sturdy structure for the beautiful walnut top to sit on. Original GN/HM medallion underneath. The table is in very good condition with age typical signs of use to the top. Legs have been polished back to their original satin chrome.
