Vintage BCS (Basic Cabinet Series) Hi-Fi cabinet designed by George Nelson in 1947 (hence the model number 4743). Made by Herman Miller, this cabinet features the highly desirable Primavera finish option, a golden mahogany veneer cut to emphasize the grain streaks that makes the surface appear to shimmer.
 
This cabinet is ready for your Hi-Fi components to be installed: a pull-out record player tray, drop down amplifier compartment above and record storage below. To the right is the single speaker enclosure that gives the cabinet its iconic look. Original speaker grille fabric. Small veneer fill and repair to front bottom left corner and rear corners.  Original finish throughout is in good condition although the top has age typical scratches from use - cabinet shows very well.
