Large minimalist EOG (Executive Office Group) credenza originally designed by George Nelson for Herman Miller in the 1950s. Featuring a walnut case, black hardboard sliding doors, satin chrome tracks and adjustable legs, this piece has all the right lines and materials to make a statement. The interior offers (from left to right) three standard drawers with dividers, extending platform with storage underneath,  a second pull out platform with storage underneath, a slim stationery drawer with divider and a hanging file drawer. Stamped 851 throughout, this piece probably dates from the 1960s and was originaly owned by a professor at the University of Arkansas. In very good vintage condition with occasional edge wear to the top and rear sides. Would be great as a media stand or audio unit.
