Classic George Nelson Executive Office Group desk and return. Walnut surfaces, teak drawer fronts, polished aluminum legs, white laminate desk top and walnut on the return. 

All original pulls, one embossed with Herman Miller. Designed by George Nelson tag in top drawer.

2 original locks. Keys not present but can be rekeyed. 

2 drawers on left desk. Return has 2 drawers, open shelf area to left of opening with one adjustable shelf. Shelf pins are original 'disc' shaped. The far end of the return on the front of the desk is a deep cabinet with one adjustable shelf. shelf pins are new.

Condition:
This is a desk from a lawyer's office who had it custom ordered in the 1960s. There are signs of use mainly on the return desk surface (see photo) and edge where the typewriter typically set (see photo). There are smaller dents/light scratches on the wood but overall this piece is in good shape. 2 of the drawer front corners show slight rounding with wear. The laminate top has chips on 3 corners and one on the edge facing the rear of the return.

Shipping is free! If you would like to pick up locally, that can be arranged. Delivery is also possible within limits of 60 miles. If you have your own shipper I am happy to coordinate with them.

The laminate top and the single pedestal will be separated for shipping. Assembly once delivered is relatively simple. The 2 included L shaped blocks raise the laminate top to give the floating effect. The original hardware of 8 long bolts with washers are also included.

I have tried to describe the any imperfections I have found but please note that this is a 50 year old desk with age related wear from use. It is very well made from quality materials and is very structurally sound. Please ask any questions related to the desk and its condition.
