Very Rare Contura production desk in Brazillian Rosewood designed by George Nelson in the late 1950s. Contura produced these desks under license from Herman Miller in Germany and they have unique construction details and materials that set them apart from the stock US production (see final image for EOG Contura advertisement circa 1961). The set is in very good vintage condition with occasional veneer cracking on the top but looks fantastic and remains very usable. A special piece for the collector.
