Classic minimalist George Nelson armchair design 5080 from 1950 for Herman Miller. Featuring a stripped down, angular steel frame, oversized natural finish birch plank armrests and simple-lined cushions, this chair is the epitome of Nelson's approach to modern design.  The steel frames are very solid with occasional paint loss on edges. The upholstery is in very good condition and the cushions remain soft and comfortable. A great collectors choice. Sold and priced as a pair.
