Walnut credenza from George Nelson's classic Executive Office Group (EOG) designed for Herman Miller in the 1950s. The tall credenza was also known as a work station as its height provided some privacy. Featuring an impressive double height credenza, with endless storage options, this is a total workstation. The credenza has a wastepaper bin compartment; pull out typewriter tray with power supply, two standard drawers; 2 push to open workspace extenders, standard drawer, file drawer; and a large storage compartment.   Key access to lock the third section (original keys included!). The open area above is divided neatly into file and sorting sections. The original lighting on the top edge is still in working order and looks amazing. Below the desk surface is a two drawer pedestal, the top being standard and the lower being hanging file.
 
This set is in overall good condition with only a few minor imperfections - sun fading, occasional small veneer dings and finish wear. The file divider panels need to be repainted as they are beginning to flake.
