Gorgeous Teak Twin version of George Nelson's highly sought after Thin Edge line he designed for Herman Miller in the 1950s. This model  5748 headboard is a Twin size and features an integrated nightstand with drop down door which acts as a platform for drinks, books etc and has the signature Thin Edge pull (in this case a new reproduction as the original was lost). Inside the storage area are two small walnut drawers and a swing out reading light. Further storage is below the drop down door with adjustable shelf and yet more storage is reached through a flip up top behind and above the headboard which itself swings out to provide a comfortable lounging angle. In  very good original condition with a small touch up near the door pull.
