Stunning teak armchair designed by famed Danish female designer, Grete Jalk. Highly stylized components sculpted and joined with the highest quality Danish craftsmanship. Beautiful old growth teak has an aged reddy hue and gorgeous wood grain on the seat back and arms. This is a rare and collectible piece of mid century modern design. It can be used as a desk chair, a captain's chair at a dining table or a an occasional chair.

This chair is in very good vintage condition. It is solid and sturdy. There is only one mark on the front of the seat back (see photo) and there is some wear on the ends of the front stretcher (see photo) and one of the dowel plugs is worn. The leather seat is in perfect condition. The underside of the seat bears the Danish Furniture Maker control stamp and the P. Jeppesen stamp indicating authenticity.
