Herman Miller’s first use of bentwood in a chair is this example designed by Allan Gould, the model 4171 'Compass' chair, produced in approx 1942. Iconic legs, comfortable curved back and playful leopard print fabric. Chairs are sturdy and usable with occasional edge and finish wear throughout. Sold as a set of 4.
