Rare Hugh Acton bucket chair on sled legs in yellow/red houndstooth from the 1970s. Designed for Acton's collaboration with contract furniture company Vecta, these chairs epitomise 70s futuristic aesthetic, fiberglass forms pioneered by the Eames and highly polished chrome elements. In good condition with sun fading and light marking. Should be cleaned thoroughly. These chairs come from architect Norman Carver's Kalamazoo home where they were used as a dining set with the set of orange Acton-Burke chairs also available on our website.
