A unique hanging sculpture consisting of 4 interlocking squares set at random angles held in place with dowels. This piece was bought from mid century modern designer Hugh Acton's estate where it hung from loft beams in his barn (see photos). Acton produced many of his most famous designs including the suspended beam bench in the barn, assembling them by hand.

The squares are made of oak and are finger-jointed at the corners. There is a hole in the top for hanging it from. It is very solid and shows slight discoloration on the top edges (not seen from below) where birds had roosted in the past.

The sculpture is visible high up in the loft in photos of Acton's house in the most recent real estate listing.
