Very early design by Jens Risom for H.G. Knoll in the 1940s. Made of solid maple, this amorphic table top is  a great example of organic modernism. Classic Risom leg details and a lovely natural woodgrain. Earliest crossbrace base design. Newer models have a skirt between legs and triangular blocking. Top has been refinished and legs/base reglued.
