Kofod Larsen armchair in leather with Brazilian Rosewood legs designed for Harald Gjernøe circa 1954. This curvy lounge chair is Ib Kofod Larsen's take on the barrell type armchairs that became popular in the late 1940s and earl 1950s, with similar chairs by Finn Juhl, Henry P. Glass, George Nelson and Arne Vodder. Beautiful rosewood legs add a furhter touch of class to this burgundy leather  chair with a very solid oak frame beneath. Obvisouly a favorite chair of the previous owner, we have added vintage leather arm patches to protect worn areas and allow continued use for years to come.  There is a handwritten name on the frame 'B.
