Rare bookshelf with drawers and storage cubbies designed by Lawrence Peabody for Richardson / Nemschoff. Adjustable upper shelf, three drawers and sliding cubby doors provide a range of storage options. Originally, this booksheld sat on the floor or a bench but I have added custom steel legs with teak wood tips to raise it 6 inches and make the drawers more accessible. Legs can easily be removed if desired. Good vintage condition with some edge wear on the shelf.
