Superb mid century modern dining chairs with bent plywood backs and walnut bases. Featuring beautiful walnut veneer on the backs and Mel Abitz' signature bowtie stretchers between the legs, these chars look great from every angle. These chairs were designed in the early 1960s and sold at Galloway's Furniture in Tampa and Sarasota. Newly upoholstered in an eye catching cut velvet fabric by Michael Jon Designs titled 'Jacquard' an orange blue and cream pattern. Very comfortable and sturdy. Sold as a set of 6.
