Petite but very functional desk by industrial design legend Raymon Loewy made by Hill-Rom in the 1950s. With its combination of utility and style, this line of furniture was favored by hospitals, schools and professional offices throughout the 1950s and 1960s. Its petite size means it will fit easily into even the most space limited setting but is still compatible with a regular desk chair. With three drawers in the pedestal and one under the desktop, there is plenty of storage along a with a sizeable desktop. This desk was used in St. Johns Hospital in Springfield, IL as identified by the inventory label on the back of the desk.
