Stylish and architectural, this executive desk is the best of mid century design - stripped down functional design with eye catching features. Designed by architect Charles Deaton for Leopold's Template Group in 1961, this entry was a strong competitor to George Nelson's EOG line for Herman Miller, often favored by banks and large company offices for its versatility. Deaton is perhaps best known for his incredible 'Sculptured house' built in  Genesee, CO a few years later. See article on the Template Group from Interiors Magazine in the last photo.

Walnut pedestals and drawers with unique double aluminum pulls, built in dividers and a hanging file drawer. Original white formica desktop in great condition. and the central mounted legs make this desk look fantastic from all angles.
