Superb teak credenza designed and made by Niels Vodder, one of the most renowned cabinetmakers of the Danish Modern movement. A stripped down design form that retains excellent details exemplifying the highest levels of craftsmanship. These include the distinctive sculpted teak legs that cradle the cabinet but allow it to float in space, a uniquely textured set of tambour doors and beautifully constructed inner compartments and trays of the finest birch. The cabinet itself is sheathed in some excellent teak grain with a shimmering figure that needs to be seen in person to be appreciated. This cabinet is in very good condition with only a few spots of minor wear to the top.
