Stunning pair of vintage mid century modern lounge chairs designed by Mel Abitz for Gallowayss furniture. Made in the 1960s, this rare design features an eye-catching superstructure that supports wide arcing legs - hence the Outrigger moniker. Added to this are the beautiful walnut plywood seat and back panels that add subtle curves into the mix. These chairs are also incredibly comfortable, enhanced by new foam cushions upholstered in rich faux sherpa. Excellent condition. Sold as a pair.
