Rare walnut lounge chairs designed by Mel Abitz in 1958 for Galloway's furniture in Tampa, FL. Dubbed 'The Outrigger' these large lounge chairs juxtapose convex and concave curves in the legs and seat respectively, to wonderful effect. These were one of sefveral patented designs that thelp make Galloway a regional success. New seat webbing installed and freshly oiled frames ready for your new cushions. Both chairs are very solid and the plywood seats and back are beautiful.  Sold as a pair.
