Finn Juhl’s famous 1948 armchair produced by Baker as part of their fantastic Baker Modern line 1952-1955. Solid walnut frames are superbly sculpted cradling bent plywood pads in their original leather. The chairs provide excellent comfort and support. Both have been dismantled, reglued to achieve their original solid integrity. Joints are tight and beautiful to feel. One chair has a small repair to the arm where a chip was removed and a new piece blended and shaved to fit. Original leather has been retained for the collector. One seat has more wear than the other but is very usable.
