Danish modern design by IB Kofod Larsen for Selig in the early 1950s. Featuring the distinctive bentwood back that provides perch for the elbows, this minimalist chair owes its lightness to a thin steel frame and lightly padded seat. These chairs have their original finish on the seat backs which is in pretty good condition considering these are 70 years old! The seat covering is also the original naguahyde. The steel frames have been touched up to protect against oxidation. BOth are marked "Back made in Denmark' on the edge of the seat backs. Priced and sold as a pair.
