Rare and iconic Paul McCobb credenza and desk design for his Planner Group made by the Winchendon Furniture Company. McCobbs distinctive simple lines and design features are on display with this drop down desk with organizer unit set atop a low credenza with original green grasscloth doors. Desk has original off white paint on desk top, adjustable shelf on left and two drawer organizer unit on right. Center cubby offers even more space. Credenza has an adjustable shelf in both sections and sits on four angled tapered legs. Set is in good original condition with occasional finish wear from typical use. The drop down desk catch has been replaced as it was incomplete when purchased and now fuctions perfectly. Both pieces have cable holes in back panels by orignal owners. Credenza has early Paul McCobb / Winchendon ink stamp on rear.
