When Paul McCobb's Planner group took the country by storm in the early 1950s, other furniture makers took notice and soon copycat makers began churning out very similar pieces. This desk is one such example, piggybacking on McCobb's simple modern lines at an even more affordable price. This one shares the same tapered legs, bevelled desk top, drawer placement and even similar dimensions. In good vintage condition with wear to the top. New McCobb style brass pulls installed.
