Early solid teak dining table designed by Peter Hvidt and Orla Molgaard Nielsen for France and Daverkosen in the 1950s. Beautifully sculpted legs and support stretchers swing out elegantly to support either side of the table top. Unique brass hardware adds a refined detail to the construction and the gorgeous teak top offers a range of sizes for the space conscious. The top has been refinished and reglued. It shows some evidence of previous repairs but shows very well. Legs and support structure are in excellent condition. Comfortably seats 6. Has the early France and Daverkosen sigilunderneath as well as the John Stuart (retailer/distributor) medallion.
