Very rare bookshelf model 4568 designed by Edward Wormley for Dunbar in the 1940s. Featuring five shelves of solid Mahogany supported by six thick strips of brass, three on each side, this is a great example of Wormley's shift towards a refined modern look that Dunbar would become known for. In all original condition with occasional finish wear and small dings. Early Dunbar For Modern brand underneath. Very few polished brass strip versions have ever appeared on the market.
