Rare black lacquer and primavera case version of George Nelson's seminal BCS series for Herman Miller. Early 1950s production with silver paper labels. Exquisite primavera veneer on all cases that shimmers beautifully. Turned 'cupcake' pulls in natural maple set off the lacquered drawerfronts perfectly. This set is in very good original condition with occasional finish wear on the drawer edges, as is to be expected. The set can be used with or without the vanity section as a pair of dressers.
