Rare two part L sofa/daybed designed by Illum Wikkelso for N. Eilersen of Denmark. Featuring wonderfully woven binder cane panels, signature oak finger joint joinery on the arms and warm original fabrics, this set offers comfort, style and flexibility. It can function as a standard L sofa or as one long 2 part sofa and either side can fold down ready for a nap or night's sleep. The sides have two angle settings to adjust to your needs. The included corner table is also a Wikkelso design in the same warm white oak. The set is in good original condition, the cane panels are almost perfect, the green seat material shows occasional wear and the oak frames are in great shape. The seat back cushions were replaced to improve comfort for taller users but three original cushions will be included with the set.
