Rare solid walnut version of Lawrence Peabody's stunning model 1806 / 917 chair design made by Richardson Nemschoff in the early 1960s. Unique wraparound arm design cradles a woven basket shell seat that was sourced directly from weavers in Hong Kong. This vintage example is in ecellent condition. The joints have been reglued and the wood oiled. The cushions are the original naugahyde and foam, both in excelent condition.
