Iconic Bird Chair and Ottoman designed by Harry Bertoia and produced by Knoll in the 1960s. The frame has been freshly sandblasted and powder coated making it look as good as new. The shock mounts are all original and provide a gentle spring and rocking motion to the chair. The original seat and ottoman covers fit well and the foam is in good shape making for an excellent seat. There is some fading and marking on the upholstery as can be expected from 50 years of use. This may come out with a good cleaning. The covers are invaluable for an upholsterer to use as a template, should you wish to have new covers made. New covers can also be purchased online from a number of vendors.
