Usonian Home in Poquoson, VA - 946sqft. ($384,000)

Designed by FLW apprentice Ling Po in 1968, this is a small architectural gem ideally sited on a lake. Very cohesive ‘Usonian’ design with built in furniture, beautiful structural elements and recessed lighting.

Incredible Estate in La Jolla, CA - 3,534 sqft. ($2,425,000)

At the other end of the price spectrum is this mid century masterpiece constructed in 1950. This is another home designed by a FLW apprentice, this time Fred Liebhardt. Fantastic beams, fireplace, built-ins - and just check out the tile in those bathrooms!

Brick Beauty in Akron, OH - 2,709 sqft. ($550,000)

Another FLW inspired design, this one in brick. Includes one of my favorite FLW features - a balcony that floats over the living room. Built in 1972 and featuring some incredible redwood.

Affordable Design in Tulsa OK - 3,116 sqft. ($185,000)

This week’s bargain listing is a 1971 stunner designed by Charles F. McAfee in Tulsa, OK. Unique is the word here and the spiral staircase is placed front and center, creating a nice focal point for the double height great room.

Post and Beam in Albuquerque, NM - 2,676 sqft. ($340,000)

This home was designed in 1966 by UNM Chairman of Architecture, Robert Riley. It’s a great example of NM MCM, IMO :) Great post and beam architecture with courtyards and stacked running bond block walls - three of my favorite architectural elements.
